Verjus Sandwich
My new go-to lunch spot is conveniently the same as my go-to wine spot: Verjus bar à vins, which is now serving up excellent sandwiches during the day.
Midnight Cuban (Seattle, WA)
Marinated and braised pork shoulder, roasted garlic mayo, cilantro, pickled chilies, grilled baguette.
Mr. Chang’s Buns (East Village, NY)
Braised pork belly, steamed chinese buns, hoisin sauce, pickles, scallion.
Bakesale Betty (Oakland, CA)
Our fried chicken, Morgan’s buns, cabbage slaw with shallots and parsley, spicy mustard vinaigrette.
Verjus Sandwich
47 Rue Montpensier, 75001 (Palais Royale – Musée du Louvre)
01 42 97 54 40
€15 menu of sandwich, drink, and dessert, +€3 supplement for wine or beer

Your pics are amazing! Do you know if it’s only on working days?
Thanks! It’s open Tuesday-Friday, but they do take-out as well if you don’t work nearby.
Then I need to find a day off to taste them, they look so yummy!
Miammmmmmm !
By the way, want to recommend this little place that I think you’ll love:
Le Village Epicerie Fine, 25 Rue Bouchardon (10e). Super cute, tiny, and right up your alley. They are really cool and friendly. Love them.
I’ll have to stop by! Thanks for the rec.
