A Sunny Day in Brittany

Brittany was stunning. In my mind, Bretagne was all craggy coast and grey skies and biting wind, and I am assured that this is one side of her. But it seems that she can be a bit bipolar, and I happened to catch her on one of her brighter days.

I spent a few afternoon hours at a panorama viewpoint, enjoying the sun, a bit of blues on the air, making daisy chains. I haven’t had the time to sit and make a crown of flowers for years. When we left, I gave the circlet to a shy little girl who was picnicking with her family.

  3. Oh, I need to travel around to Brest – it looks stunning! I live near Cancal/ St. Malo and as Im always traveling there from my house in England, I never make it as far as that area. Please post more Brittany photos; I miss home and these photos, while of a different bit of coast line than I am used to made me so excited to go home this Summer!

    • I remembered from a previous post that you’ve lived in Brittany. I’d love to go back and travel around a bit. I’ll definitely post more photos soon!

      • Yay! (I’m heading back to my house there after I get back from Los Angeles for a bit this Summer, so I’ll let you know when I have some photos from my neck of the woods this Summer up on my blog!)

  5. This looks absolutely stunning. I’m so glad you loved in! Bretagne is one of my two favourite places in France. What part of it did you go to? I’m only familiar with Quimper and Fouesnant and the southern half of it.
