San Francisco, Part 2
I’m working on cultivating a leisurely traveling style. I’m beginning to realize more and more that a rigidly scheduled trip with must-see destinations is just not for me. During this weekend in San Francisco, I only planned a couple of stops (all food-related, of course), and spent the rest of the time just wandering the city, stepping into interesting-looking thrift shops and bars, going over the Golden Gate Bridge because we had some time to kill, and generally taking in the air.

We should do SF together again sometime.
Totes. When are you around? A bunch of us are going up in January to see Colin Meloy.
…How would I be able to be in San Francisco in January?
I dunno what vacations are like where you are, dude.
I am so incredibly jealous of these photos. They make me nostalgic for my time spent there (I got back to the UK in July having lived in SF for a year) ! You’re so right though – San Francisco is done best when it’s not scheduled, it is a city to be leisurely explored for sure. Great to see you’re having a lovely time, enjoy!
I know what you mean — I’ve never lived in SF, but every time I visit I think that it’s time to pack up my bags and move north. Guess I just need more vacation weekends up there!
