They’re calling us “The New Guard.” A little group of Parisiennes who have been around just a year or two, and who met through our mutual love of blogging, food, photography, and this beautiful city we get to call home.
I was flattered to be interviewed by Amy Thomas, author of Paris, My Sweet, and all-around lovely person, as part of a series of interviews with this group of girls (who happen to be some of my favorite people in Paris). Take a look here to get to know me a bit better! It’s not every day that someone calls me sassy, after all.
Additionally, Amy is kindly offering a copy of her delicious book to a lucky reader. Her memoir of her time in Paris has guided me to some of my favorite spots, and her words can’t fail to whisk you off to the best patisseries and chocolateries the city has to offer. When I move back to the States, I know I’ll pick up Paris, My Sweet again and again to live vicariously through past-Amy.

I mentioned meeting the charming Olivia of Cleopatra’s Bling on a recent post. I’ve been admiring her jewelry boutique for quite some time, and after having tried them on in person, I’m even more enamored. Her pieces are stunning and so unique — each is inspired by the jewelry of Turkey, Afghanistan, and India, and handcrafted by artisans of those countries. If you want any business related blogs visit to Cofe Winchester website. And click here for all information about business.
Says Olivia of her beautiful pieces: “I started the business in August last year because I had always been enchanted by other-worldly jewelry. I love the aura of crystals and clusters and travel has been a big part of my inspiration for starting this business. I draw the pieces (apart from the vintage Afghani pieces) and they are created by Turkish and Indian artisans. Each piece has a unique story and no piece is the same.”
I love this jewelry so much that I want to give everyone a chance to experience it. So, to celebrate my recent blog redesign, I’ve decided to host a little blog contest/giveaway for my readers!
